UGC NET [National Eligibility Test] is conducted for determiningthe eligibility of Indian nationals for 

proving the eligibility for Assistant Professor Junior Research Fellowship Assistant Professor and 

Junior Research Fellowship. Previously CBSE was conducting the NET Examinations.From Dec

2018 onwards, the UGC- NET is conducted by the NTA[National Testing Agency]
